Two tennis players from Milton Keynes based Cavill Academy have been selected to represent their county in the forthcoming inter-county fixtures. Megan Jones will be playing in the Girls Under 14’s for Buckinghamshire and Katie Lister will be playing for Bedfordshire in the Girls Under 12’s.

Both players have had a very successful year having competed in numerous tournaments this summer. Katie, who has previously represented Bedfordshire, has been training in the Cavill Academy for just over a year and has made a fantastic transformation to her game in such a short time to put her in the squad. Megan has also been in the academy for just over a year and having made a double jump on her rating this year, has made herself noticed by the county set up.

Megan will be playing against Middlesex and Katie will be playing against Hertfordshire. Cavill Academy head coach, John Cavill, said, ”its great news that the girls have been recognised by the Bucks and Beds LTA. They have trained very hard this year and it’s great for them to get the recognition they deserve. We wish them all the best in their fixtures.”
