 Summer success has already begun for Milton Keynes based Cavill Academy, as 3 players won their categories at the Kingston Windows LTA Junior Tournament.
The Riverside Tennis Club in Bedford hosted the LTA grade 4 junior tournament, with over 200 players entering the week-long event that was held between 9th and 14th April. The Cavill Academy had 5 players competing in the Under 14’s girls, Under 12’s Boys, Under 10’s girls, Under 10’s Boys and Under 10’s Mini Tennis Green events.

 Since October 2006, players have been representing their county in the Inter County Shield competition. 11 counties from the South East region have entered teams in the Boys and Girls Under 10's, 12's and 14's categories.
9 year old Georgie Sanders has been playing in the Under 10's girls for Bucks and the team have played their way into the final. They have beaten Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire whilst on route to the semi finals. This weekend (25th February) the team travelled to Kent and won 4 rubbers to 2. This now means that they play Middlesex or Sussex in the final on 18th March at Aldershot Tennis Centre.
