2010_keith_reynolds_clinicMilton Keynes tennis enjoyed a very special visit from international tennis coach, Keith Reynolds, on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th March.

Keith was educated at Millfield School, Somerset where he had gained a tennis and football scholarship and Downing College Cambridge where he graduated with a Degree in Economics and played tennis and football for the University.

Keith’s visit to Milton Keynes was organised by Tennis Works, who are heavily involved in tennis education and support. On the Sunday, selected local juniors from the Cavill Academy and David Lloyd endure a 3 hour coaching clinic and discovered the requirements to be a great tennis player. On the Monday, Keith delivered a workshop to 15 coaches, helping them to evaluate their way of coaching and how they can empower their players to make better decisions.

2010_keith_reynolds_clinic2At the end of the visit Keith said, “Tennis Works are highly motivated coaches who are aggressively building a business by bringing this great game of tennis to hundreds of customers. They are not waiting for it to happen but making it happen. Their creativity and courage gives them the freedom to try without the fear of failure holding them back. The only reservation about The Tennis Works programme in British Tennis is that they are not in every town and city in Britain and I’m one of their biggest fans. I'm going to enjoy watching them on their wonderful adventure”.

Released: 9 March 2010
