Welcome to Aylesbury Tennis Club
Aylesbury Tennis club is situated on the Wendover Road approximately 1 mile from Aylesbury Town centre. Tennis shares its clubhouse with the Squash club who have recently refurbished their four courts. We have 7 floodlit artificial grass courts and 3 hard courts with a practice wall.
The club has a big emphasis on social tennis with four organised sessions for all members (Saturday Mornings Rusty Rackets 11.30-13.00, Sunday Social Morning 11.00- 13.00, Tuesday Club night 18.00- 20.00, Friday Club night 18.00-20.00).
Also for the more serious player we have men’s (Wednesdays) and ladies (Thursdays) club night. These nights are invite only and are for players who would like to play for their club. We have a wide range of teams competing in the NCL, Bucks Shield and ADL leagues
The club runs a successful singles challenge ladder all year, as well. as numerous club tournaments, such as Parent Child events, Handicapped, Chairman’s Cup and the Club Championships.
Juniors also have box ladders which they can play in, on Junior night ( Wednesday) which is organised free of charge by a coach. As well as fun and serious events through out the year..
If you need to improve your game the club now has 2 full time coaches who can cater for all ages and abilities.
Come and visit on a Saturday morning and grab a Cappuccino in our new café.
Memberships range from £30 for young juniors up to £230 full adult these do not include joining fees. There are also other subsidies such as family membership ,student membership etc. We also have a social membership if you wish to make the most of our cheap drinks and sky TV. There are no charges for the courts, floodlights or organised club sessions.
