2010_keith_reynolds_clinicMilton Keynes tennis enjoyed a very special visit from international tennis coach, Keith Reynolds, on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th March.

Keith was educated at Millfield School, Somerset where he had gained a tennis and football scholarship and Downing College Cambridge where he graduated with a Degree in Economics and played tennis and football for the University.

Armstrong Ends Unbeaten Run PDF Print E-mail

countycampionMK tennis talent, Lauren Armstrong, took the title at the LTA Grand Prix event and ended a 6 month winning spell for her opponent. Eight juniors from across the region gathered at David Lloyd Hertford on Sunday 28th February to compete in the Grade 3 event. In the Under 9’s events, the players play a best of 3 tie-breakers, with each tie-breaker going to 10 points. Amongst the competitors, who are some of the top UK Under 9 players, was Lauren Armstrong from Milton Keynes-based Cavill Academy at Stony Stratford Tennis Club. Over the past 6 months Lauren has progressed as a player after winning the Bucks Under 9 County Closed in August, 2 Indoor Series events and all her matches in a National competition whilst representing the Region.

A Clean Sweep of Wins for Emily PDF Print E-mail

emilyEmily Honor took part in a green tournament on 20 February at Holton and achieved a clean sweep of wins against a strong field to take first place. This marks a major step forwards for Emily and her development in this tough category.

Emily has been working hard on her game over the winter period and her commitment and hard work is starting to bring rewards.
