The Tennis Works system has been developed and improved by John Cavill since 1994. John's current coaching qualifications include: LTA CCA & RPT Europe Level 4. In 1995 he was appointed assistant pro at Aylesbury Tennis Club until 1997. Between 1997 and 1999 he gained his HND Sports Coaching & Administration with Nottingham Trent University whilst being appointed the assistant pro at Lincoln Eastgate Tennis Club. During these years he worked on Club-School links on behalf of the Lincolnshire LTA whilst during the summers he was the assistant Pro at the Oxford Jonathan Markson Tennis Camps. In 1999 he was appointed as Junior Co-ordinator at David Lloyds in Milton Keynes and in 2001 he founded Tennis Works. In 2002, John was appointed as Regional Director for the European Registry of Tennis Professionals, which involves delivering coach education courses across the UK. After establishing the Cavill Academy in 2005, the academy were rewarded by the LTA as a Performance Accredited Club.
