Tennis Works and Stony Stratford Tennis Club have joined up for 2008 Road to Wimbledon competition to make this event a big success. The competition starts at club level with the winners moving on to the county finals, then regionals and finally at Wimbledon for the national final.
The way the competition is organised is as follows:

Players must contact each other to arrange the match

If a Tennis Works player is playing a Stony Stratford player (which is indicated on the draw sheet with Tennis Works players highlighted in yellow), then the match will be played at Stony Stratford.

For Tennis Works players who are playing each other, please organise a time that is suitable between you and your opponent and you can play the match at a Tennis Works venue. All you need to do is notify John Cavill at john@tennisworks.co.uk or on 07976 205531 before the match is played, so a court can be booked.

For Stony Stratford players playing each other, again, please organise a time that is suitable between you and your opponent and you play the match at Stony Stratford Tennis Club.

Please find a time and date that suits you both BUT the match must be complete by the deadlines, which are on the rules sheet.

After the match has been played

Contact the organiser, who is John Skinner on 07989 096194 or at jskinner264@btinternet.com, with the result and you will be notified about who you are playing in the next round (if you win) and then you must complete this match by the next deadline.

  2. Date of Birth – THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR THOSE BORN IN 1994 OR LATER

  4. Club that you play at – Tennis Works or Stony Stratford
Deadlines

ROUND 1 PLAY BY: 27th April
QUATER FINALS PLAY BY: 11th May
SEMI FINALS PLAY BY: 25th May
FINAL PLAY BY: 1st June

Best of 3 sets tie break at 6-6
3rd set match tie break only (First to 10)
